Dr Skylar Llewellyn comes to us from Pennsylvania where she competed her undergraduate degrees in biology and business management at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a class of 2026 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
She has special interests in giant breed preventative care, ophthalmology, and exotic animal medicine. She is passionate about providing access to medical care to all species, and nurturing the human-animal bond.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Skylar spends her time hiking, thrifting, reading, and spending time with her pets. Her current family includes a Newfoundland named Mack Truck, a Great Pyrenees mix named Fenrir, two cats named Bean and Ellie, and two rabbits named Enzo and Scoop. Her dream is to own one of every giant dog breed, but, admittedly, Newfoundlands hold a special place in her heart.
